Clinical Supervisor (part time) John Howard Society, North Island; Provide clinical supervision for the 40+ counselors and workers of the John Howard Society in Campbell River and Courtenay; assist with training, program development, and with keeping the Society up-to-date with respect to best clinical practices. As a member of the Service Delivery Committee, co-responsible for the selection, development and application of John Howard’s case management information system, and for improvements and training relating to practice standards.
1992 – 2005 Contract Psychologist
Therapist (part time), BC Ministry of Health Adult Forensic Outpatient Program; provided adult sex offender treatment programs through John Howard Society in Campbell River and Courtenay. Provided treatment for more than 200 adult sex offenders during that period. 5% recidivism rate.
Educational Psychologist (part time) provided psychoeducational and behavioral assessments of children and adult students throughout the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal area, as well as for the Bella Bella Community School and the Bella Coola School District. Also assessed children in various small NW Coastal villages for the UBC First Nations Assessment Project. 30 - 40 assessment clients per year.

Clinical Supervisor (part time), Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council; Supervised 10 counselors throughout northwest coast of Vancouver Island; case consultation; development and evaluation of programs, policies, and procedures; assisted with the development of a 2-year First Nations paraprofessional counselor training program at Malaspina University-College; trained a Nuu-chah-nulth apprentice to assume this position.
